Battle Food Insecurity in Durham at the West End Mobile Market

As a nonprofit organization, we at The West End Community Foundation strongly believe in the importance of giving back and making a difference in our local community.

In addition to charitable events and fundraisers that we host to raise funds for resources at the Community Family Life & Recreation Center at Lyon Park, every third Saturday of the month, our organization partners with the Interfaith Food Shuttle, Morehead Baptist Church, City of Joy Ministries, Mount Vernon Baptist Church and other community organizations to host the West End Mobile Market at Duke Memorial United Methodist Church.

The West End Mobile Market is a service that offers free food, including fresh fruits and vegetables, to individuals and families battling food insecurity.
